The story
"O me o il mare" is Chef Luigi Tramontano's tribute to his father Antonio, who was also a chef.
Antonio began his culinary career on cruise ships, traveling the world until he was called back to land. His young fiancée asked him to choose between her and the sea, and Antonio chose love, home, and family. Back home, he continued his chef career, achieving significant satisfaction and milestones.
However, whenever something troubles him, he still mutters to his wife: "O me o il mare, O me o il mare."
For Chef Tramontano, his father Antonio is his mentor, and when the opportunity to realize his dream arose, the name choice was easy: "O me o il mare."
"O me o il mare" Restaurant is born from love, devotion, and an endless passion for cooking that runs in the Tramontano family’s blood.
